National Preparedness Month (NPM) is recognized in the United States each September to promote family and community disaster planning now and throughout the year. As countries around world continue to respond to COVID-19, there is no better time to be prepared. This year, each week has a different topic.
Week 1 looks at "making a plan".
In this episode, we talk to Loretta Hieber Girardet about a planning tool from the UNDRR’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. It is a toolkit to support SMEs to help: protect their employees and customers from contracting and passing COVID-19; rapidly take measures that can protect their businesses from the incoming disruptions, especially in countries that have not yet been severely impacted by COVID-19; That have been impacted by COVID-19 to utilize all resources that might be available to them to remain solvent and operational.
