Swiss Bear is the downtown development corporation in the City of New Bern, North Carolina. It supports businesses in the downtown region.
When Hurricane Florence flooded the downtown, many businesses were flooded too. Within two weeks, the downtown had been cleaned up, businesses were reopened, and the annual Mum Fest was underway.
